Relocating a second career in a new and unfamiliar job market can be difficult and at times paramount to the decision of whether or not to accept or reject a job offer requiring relocation. As an employer, providing Dual Career Assistance as part of the relocation package can provide the impetus for the acceptance of the job offer by ensuring a job search partner and coach for the trailing spouse. This eases the concern and accompanying reluctance of the potential employee. |

For the participant that is considering making a move that is a "life event", such a move is difficult even if there were no unknowns. Moving to a new area, not knowing what opportunities are available, not having a personal network, no knowledge of the employment climate, potentially having to develop a new and different career...all can be paralyzing to the job search effort. Our Dual Career Assistance program helps you make the transition and reduces the stress associated with both the life partners changing careers. Our goal is to present information, assistance and resources. We do not provide nor can we guarantee employment for relocating partners. |
